Nordic Folklore Blooms Earrings // Peony

A little piece of Nordic folk art, translated into sterling silver. 🌿

These botanical earrings are part of my Nordic Folklore Blooms collection, inspired by the simple, graphic florals and organic shapes found in Scandinavian folk art. I love taking those traditional motifs and giving them my own spin through the metalsmithing process.

Each flower and stem is hand drawn, pierced, and sawn from sterling silver, with the details darkened to bring out the intricate linework and give the flowers a little more depth. The two earrings are intentionally different, with the blooms facing opposite directions for an organic, slightly unexpected feel.

They’re lightweight and full of detail, with that wonderful combination of clean Nordic lines and the imperfections that come from making something entirely by hand.
