What began as a class sample idea blossomed into one of the coolest pieces I have made to date! This statement piece is sure to spark up conversations. The amazing slice of dendritic limestone is set in a bezel with additional prongs for both stability and interest. Those dendrites have always given me feeling of good, strong, healthy roots. Roots similar to that of a saguaro cactus. Thousands of pounds of weigh depend on those roots for stability and to find water in the driest of places. The limestone, so similar in color and texture to the earthy dry dirt of the desert aids in making this slice the perfect addition to the bracelet's theme. Flanking that magnificent specimen are two hinged hand sawn saguaro cactus. The bracelet comes together with a lobster clasp and links of chain to aid in getting just the right fit. A tiny cast succulent dangles from the tippy end of the chain representing a fallen cactus bloom.
