A rectangle shaped Citrine carved in a Mughal style is set in a shiny brass bezel atop a sterling silver band with a brass cross (or plus symbol) on the side. The ring band was created utilizing the left over bits of sterling silver sheet that I had collected from past projects, melted down and cast into a solid teardrop shaped band. It is a great way to not have waste and get the most out of your materials. I also LOVE how substantial and solid a cast band feels.

I’ve been playing with mixed metals in this collection a bit and I feel this piece benefits the most from this design choice. That polished brass bezel and cross (or plus symbol) really help the carved citrine POP 🌟. Using brass and polishing it up real good can be an affordable option when you want the gold look but don’t want to pay the gold price.
